These are the terms of service for HowlRing LLC. HowlRing is both an web-based software platform and a store that sells customized NFC cards and wristbands. These terms of service apply to the software component of HowlRing only. The software component is accessible through the internet at the domain app.howlring.com. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms of Service" or "Agreement"). Please read these terms carefully as they apply to all users.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on HowlRing or purchasing our products, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

The software component of HowlRing offers:

• An online platform where users can create accounts.
• A feature called "Pawshaking" which is about "Pawshakes" that records in-person meetings via NFC scans.
• The ability to customize your user profile which is visible to other users.

3. User Accounts

Currently, the only way to get a HowlRing account is to purchase specific HowlRing products. It is at the HowlRing store that you may find such products.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be 18 years or older to use our services and own an account.

4. Personal Information

• By using HowlRing, you agree to the collection and use of personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
• Some of your personal information may be visible to other users. This may include but is not limited to your username.

5. Use of Services

• You agree not to use HowlRing for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• You agree not to post any adult or mature content on HowlRing or any of its NFC products. All content is required to be acceptable to being seen or sensed by a general audience.

6. Intellectual Property

• All content and materials on HowlRing, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of HowlRing and are protected by intellectual property laws.
• When you upload or enter your content into HowlRing, you grant HowlRing the right to store, publish, display, modify, and distribute such content. These rights are only used to provide the services of HowlRing and are not to be used for any other purpose outside of HowlRing's core functionality.

7. Termination

• We reserve the right to terminate your account or access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

• HowlRing services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

• HowlRing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.
HowlRing is not responsible for any previously mentioned damages even if they result from user interaction directly or indirectly as a result of the platform.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

11. Changes to Terms of Service

• We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Moderation

• Users are expected to not engage in behaviors that are violent, exploitive, deceptive, hateful, derogatory, inappropriate, disrespectful, or dangerous to other users. This is not an exhaustive list. If you feel that you are being harassed in a way not mentioned, it is reportable.
• Any violation of the expected behaviors and conduct of any user is to be reported to [email protected].
• Users are not to abuse the platform: this includes but is not limited to DDoS attacks, phishing, or other technical and non-technical attacks intended to harm the HowlRing platform.
